The new action-packed and thrilling James Bond movie SPECTRE is just five months away to hit the theaters globally. After the huge success of previous 007 movie Skyfall grossed over $1.2 Billion, the expectation with Spectre is much high. All fans are excited to see Daniel Craig returning as superspy , but it is also reported that Bond will bring his license to kill to another studio after doing multi-picture agreement with Sony Studio.

The Sony days of profiting from World’s best spy finally came to end, as Spectre release will end the contract between them and MGM, they have made this partnership since the debut of Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, and then worked together in Quantum of Solace, and most successful film of the movie-series Skyfall, but the upcoming 24th installment of the franchise will surely end Sony’s distribution rights and deal with MGM.

According to the article on Insider, Warner Bros may have upper-hand and primed to take the place of Sony among other Studios including Fox and Paramount, as the CEO of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Gary Barber alleged close relationship with the chairman of Warner Bros Kevin Tsujihara, this close relation between two Chiefs can yield yet another famous partnership.  It is also reported that Sony will compete for the rights of Britain’s top class agent, the Sony chairman Thomas E. Rothman said that is reality that Sony had a great run with the Bond franchise, he also indicated that they will compete for the right of James Bond, he also added that, be honest everyone is in the business.

However it would be the big loss for the Sony if they won’t get back the distributions rights of 007, Bond is definitely one of their probably best and most reliable money-maker.   The North Korea hacking scandal has hit hard not only their finance but reputation too, and loosing Bond’s right can make them even more tenuous position. The other famous movie series of Sony includes Amazing-Spiderman, Men in Black, and 21 Jump Street.
